INTRON Ltd is a computer hardware and software research and development company. We design and develop System-Level Design Solutions, IP Cores, and SoCs for IC design industry. INTRON is built of highly qualified team of scientists, engineers and designers. Our members are highly skilled in development of the specialized computers, VLSI sets, microprocessor systems, computer tomographs, and dozens of other technologies over past 25 years. INTRON Ltd is a privately held independent company with 30+ employees. We were founded in 2000, we are located in Lviv, Ukraine.

Founder and CEO of INTRON Ltd: professor, DSc, PhD, C.Eng. Anatoliy Melnyk. He has taken part as a project leader in the execution of a large number of research and design projects in the field of computer and cyber-physical systems and networks. Among them are new computer architecture and new types of computer memory, the floating-point digital signal processor, floating-point processor for computing of the elementary functions, series of radar signal processors, series of FFT processors, series of processors for data protection, series of IP Core generators, VLSI set for digital signal processors, multiprocessor system based on TI TMS320 DSP family, fast orthogonal transformations processor, industrial computer tomography, C2HDL automatic design tools, 3D image reconstruction, human state remote monitoring tools, anonymization-based personal data protection tools, etc. Prof. Anatoliy Melnyk has been a member of IEE since 1996, an academician and a head of the Lviv division of the International Academy of the Computer Sciences and Systems since 1997, a member of ACM since 1998 (head of the Ukrainian chapter in 2000-2002), a member of IEEE since 2001, a member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine since 2011. He has published about 400 scientific papers, 15 monographs and holds 103 patents. He has been a vice-rector for research and innovation at the IT Step University, Lviv. From 1994 to 2023 he was the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at Lviv Polytechnic National University, From 2017 to 2023 he was a Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, from 1982 to 1994 he was with the Lviv Radio Engineering Research Institute: to 1986 as a scientific researcher, to 1994 as a Head of the Department of Digital Signal Processing Systems, since 1994 to 2008 he was a Scientific Director of the Institute of Measurement and Computer Technique at Lviv Polytechnic National University, from 1999 to 2009 he was a Dean of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies at the Institute of Business and Perspective Technologies. He had also a professorship at Kielce University of Technology, the University of Information Technology and Management, Rzeszow, University of Bielsko-Biala. He was a member of the Scientific Technical Council of the Ministry of the Radio Technical Industry of the USSR, a member of the Scientific Section on Problems of Image Processing of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, a member of the Coordination Commission on Microelectronics Components of the Ministry of Machine Building Industry of Ukraine, and a member of Expert Council of State Accreditation Commission of Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine. He has been a member of the Advisory Council on Informatization at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and a member of the Scientific and Methodological Commission for Information Technologies, Automation and Telecommunications of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, head of the subcommittee on specialty 123 Computer Engineering.

Viktor Melnyk, Founder, Non-Executive Director

Leader / Responsible Executor of a number of R&D projects at INTRON. Viktor has 25 years of experience in IP Cores and SoCs design and implementation, proven contribution into IP Cores design methodology and high-performance reconfigurable computer systems design methodology. Highly experienced in computer data protection, including cryptographic algorithms, cryptographic processors design and implementation, and wireless sensor network security. Viktor holds MSc degree in computer systems and networks, PhD and DSc degrees in technical sciences and full Professor’s grade. He is an author of more than 100 scientific publications, including monographs and patents.

Ivan Moroz, Founder, Non-Executive Director

Ivan Moroz is Manager of Software Division at INTRON. He has 19 years of experience in image and signal processing software modeling and development, 2D and 3D image processing, including feature extraction, image segmentation, 2D and 3D image reconstruction, object description and classification. Ivan holds Diploma of Engineer in design and technology of radio-electronic devices, he has published 14 scientific papers.

Volodymyr Emets, Founder, Non-Executive Director

Volodymyr Emets is Manager of Image Reconstruction Division at INTRON. Volodymyr holds DSc degree in physics and mathematics.
