The book “Main Cryptographic Algorithms” considers main theoretical basis of a modern cryptography. Modern symmetric encryption algorithms are described and majority of known classes of the asymmetric encryption algorithms and their theoretical basis are discussed. The questions of pseudo-random numbers generation and hashing functions are disclosed. It is shown how the asymmetric encryption algorithms are being used for generation of the digital signatures. One of the questions of great importance for the practical applications of cryptography – key scheduling – is discussed. Modern approaches for breaking of the cryptosystems are overviewed.
